| This year's 2003 festival marks
the 91st celebration of the original gift of the 3,000 cherry trees by the city
of Tokyo to the people of Washington, DC in 1912. The blossoms, along with the
Festival's numerous cultural, community and sporting events attract over 700,000
visitors annually to our Nation's capital. Come and enjoy the spirit of the season.
